OCC and Gail Potocki's Fragmented Alice Collection- Press Release

Hi loves!

Please enjoy the following update from Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics.

OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE COSMETICS REVEALS FRAGMENTED ALICE COLOUR COLLECTION, A COLLABORATION WITH RENOWNED SYMBOLIST PAINTER NEW YORK, NY

Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics reveals full 'Fragmented Alice' Colour Collection, a collaboration with renowned Symbolist painter Gail Potocki.  San Diego Comic Con attendees were able to get a sneak peek of the limited edition collection via  'Fragmented', which not only to commemorated OCC's debut at Comic Con but was also the debut of a brand new Lip Tar texture that blends the glossy transparency of Stained Gloss with the high impact sparkle of Metallic.  'Fragmented' will now be available to the public as a part of the 'Fragmented Alice' collection, to be released alongside three
new Loose Colour Concentrates and two new Nail Lacquers.  All products in this collection were inspired by Gail Potocki’s latest series of paintings, "Fragmented Alice" -- her uniquely macabre take on Alice in Wonderland.
Gail Potocki gives us the inside scoop on this collaboration, "I'm thrilled with how Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics translated my work into the collection. The colors are a great balance between psychedelic and haunting. This collection is a gorgeous extension of my paintings and a unique way for others to physically inhabit the universe of 'Fragmented Alice'."  "OCC has never seen boundaries between art and makeup, and this same transcendence of perceived artistic boundaries is present in the 'Fragmented Alice' paintings," says David Klasfeld, Founder and Creative Director of Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics, "we couldn't be more honored to partner with an artist as visionary as Gail Potocki."
The Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics products in “Fragmented Alice” were named by Gail Potocki herself and consist of:
LIP TAR: METALLIC in Fragmented, a metallic acid green glaze that pairs an unprecedented amount of metallic pigment with a slick, translucent glossiness that leaves a spectacularly foil-like finish on the lips that's unquestionably attention-getting.

Nail Lacquers in Severed, a bright crimson crème and Gryphon, a cement grey crème. Both are 5-free, densely pigmented, quickdrying and super long lasting.

Loose Colour Concentrates in Inflicted, a patinaed red/lavender; Curved Sky, an icy white to iridescent blue; and NEVAR, a dirty golden olive.  These micronized colour pigments are fused with light- reflecting mica and can be used to apply shimmer on the eyes, lips, cheeks and anywhere else on the face or body for a sleek, eye-catching look.

About OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE COSMETICS:
Founded in New York City in 2004, OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE COSMETICS started out as a trade secret: a pro-only range of products available only at the most exclusive industry-only Professional Makeup emporiums. In a time when many cosmetic companies make the claim that their products are "Cruelty Free" simply because Animal Testing has become unfashionable and less cost-effective, OCC felt it was necessary to raise the bar on this issue. We pledge never to use animal-derived ingredients (including Lanolin, Beeswax, Carmine and more) in our products and accessories. Founder David Klasfeld is still directly involved in the formulation of all new products and as a makeup artist himself is sure to always bring the latest trends in colour to the market.   www.occmakeup.com
